Certificate IV in Business
This course is designed for students looking to advance their career within the business services sector. This nationally recognised course which will help you gain the knowledge required to develop work priorities, develop teams and individuals.
39 weeks full-time (includes 9 weeks holidays).
Online training: 25% of this courses is delivered online through the student portal. Students can access this from their home computer.
Accounts Clerk, Customer Service Advisor, Clerk, E-Business Practitioner, Office Administration Assistant, Student Services Officer and Word Processing Operator.
Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:
- After achieving the Certificate III in Business (BSB30115) or other relevant qualification/s OR
- With vocational experience but without formal supervision or management qualification AND
- Year 12 or equivalent AND over 18 years old at the time of enrolment
IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or an English proficiency of intermediate level or above from any ASQA or NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.
This program is delivered entirely off-the-job at the college campus. It contains face-to-face training led by theory classes and practical sessions involving small groups and individual activities.
For each unit, candidates are provided with training manuals, which includes materials used in the training sessions, assessment materials and reference materials.
Includes demonstration, questioning/tests, written assessment, projects and other appropriate assessment methods depending on the study unit.
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Business (BSB40215). Students who do not complete all units may be eligible for a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of a Certificate IV in Business (BSB40215).
