Duration: 12 weeks

Entry Requirements:
IELTS 5, Cambridge FCE, TOEFL 235, ALTE Level 4, CEF B2, completion of English course at Upper Intermediate level

Description:
The English for Academic Purposes course teaches students the academic skills necessary for successful study at a vocational college or university. The course is for students who have an Upper Intermediate to Advanced level of English.

Teaching methods:
Face to face delivery. Through a series of topics such as science and technology, the environment and economics students will be taught the skills necessary for oral presentations, essay writing, academic reading and listening.

Assessment methods:
Students are assessed during the course through written assignments and assessment of their speaking, listening and reading ability.

Completion:
Students receive a statement of attainment upon successful completion of the course.
